TECHIMAN N: Kingdom Exim Ghana donates items to aid COVID-19 fight

The Techiman North District has received support of items worth Ghc75,000 from the Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited.

The donation which was done on Monday, April 06, 2020 forms part of efforts been adopted to support the Government in the fight against the Spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the Techiman North District area.

The items which were valued at GHC 75, 000 include Veronica buckets, boxes of face masks, alcohol-based hand sanitizers, liquid soap among others.

Presenting the items to the Assembly for distribution, the Techiman Branch Manger of Kingdom Exim Gh Ltd Mr. A. Sanjay said the gesture formed part of the company's efforts to complement the government’s effort to save lives in the country as the pandemic persists.



On behalf of the District Assembly, Hon Peter Mensah the Techiman North District Chief Executive thanked the management of the Kingdom Exim Ghana Limited respectively for the gesture and called on the general public and the cooperate world to support the District in its quest to fight the coronavirus pandemic.

Following measures for enhanced contact tracing and testing, Ghana has detected an increased number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.



As at 6th April 2020, a total of 287 cases of COVID-19 with five (5) deaths have been recorded.

The regional distribution of the cases are as follows: Greater Accra Region has most cases (258) followed by the Ashanti Region (18), Northern Region (10), Upper West Region (1), Eastern Region (1) and Upper East Region (1).
