His confirmation took place on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly Hall following a closely monitored voting exercise.

Mr. Philibert secured 29 out of the 42 votes cast, representing an approval rate of 69.05 percent, to obtain the required confirmation as the Municipal Chief Executive.

The exercise was witnessed by the Member of Parliament for the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency, Frank Annor Dompreh, alongside other stakeholders and members of the Assembly.

The confirmation marks a new chapter in the administration of the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality, with Mr. Philibert expected to work with the Assembly, traditional authorities, stakeholders and residents to advance development initiatives across the municipality.

As MCE, he will be responsible for providing leadership and coordinating the activities of the Municipal Assembly in areas including local economic development, infrastructure, sanitation, social services and other programmes aimed at improving the wellbeing of residents.

Mr. Philibert's confirmation followed his nomination for the position and the subsequent approval process conducted by the Assembly members.

The outcome has paved the way for him to assume his responsibilities as head of the Municipal Assembly and contribute to the implementation of development programmes and policies within Nsawam-Adoagyiri.
