The fully furnished facility was unveiled at the climax of the President’s tour of the region. He was scheduled to begin his tour of the Bono Region on Tuesday, August 10.

Before the commissioning, President Akufo-Addo paid a courtesy call on the traditional authorities and people of the area, where he urged the District Chief Executive and residents to work together to maintain the facility and preserve its integrity for the benefit of the district.

The Chief of the Nkoranza Traditional Council, Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, expressed appreciation to the President for the project and assured him that the traditional council would collaborate with the District Assembly to ensure the proper maintenance of the facility.

Nana Kwame Baffoe IV also welcomed the decentralisation of state institutions beyond regional capitals, particularly the establishment of the Regional Education Directorate in Nkoranza, describing the development as a positive step that would bring government services closer to the people.
