Volta Regional Minister Tours Assemblies

Together with Principal Officers of the Volta Regional Coordinating Council and some Regional Heads of other State Institutions, the Regional Minister Dr. Archibald Y. Letsa commenced a tour of the Municipalities and Districts of the Volta Region with a visit to the Central Tongu District.

At Central Tongu, He visited the Spring Agro Farms which is into rice farming by itself and also on outgrower scheme basis.

He cut sod for the construction of the Farm's state-of-the-art rice mill which when completed would begin milling 50 tonnes of paddy per hour to compete favorably with imported milled rice. The mill is registered under the One District One Factory (1D1F) Initiative.

The Regional Minister and his entourage ended their tour of the Central Tongu District by holding an interactive session with the District Chief Executive, staff of the Assembly and staff of other public institutions at the Assembly Hall, Adidome.
