The Project will constitute six spacious classroom, staff common room, store room, Headmasters Office, play ground, among others.

The facility which is to be undertaken and financed by the assembly is expected to help improve teaching and learning in the community.

Speaking at a short ceremony, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ga South, Joseph Nyarni Stephen, noted that the construction of the new facility became necessary as the assembly aims at eliminating the school shift system currently being practiced in the area.

He said, creating the right environment and providing the appropriate infrastructure and provision of adequate teaching and learning materials to harness quality education is what the assembly seeks to achieve; hence the desire to put up the said facility.

He called on parents to endeavor to send their children to school as government also works tirelessly to ensure that both basic and secondary education is made free and accessible to all children of school going age.
