The DCE gave the assurance when he, together with some officials of the assembly inspected the grading work on the Ofoase - Akokobenom feeder road to make it motorable.

 Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Frimpong noted that the project, when duly completed, will enable farmers in the area convey their farm produce to other nearby market centres, a move he added, would go a long way to improve the economic fortunes of the district.

 He said the assembly was making frantic efforts to rehabilitate all poor roads in the district to make them motorable.

 Meanwhile, the DCE has also made a passionate appeal to the government to assist with the tarring of the Ofoase - Akokobenom road to make it more motorable.
