Speaking at a brief meeting with executives and traders at the market, the MP acknowledged the tough times the traders might be going through having lost their livelihoods not once but twice.

The MP assured the victims of his support adding that they would bounce back and that measures are being put in place to prevent such fire outbreaks in future.

The Ghana National Fire Service has however launched a full investigation into the cause of the fire outbreak.

The MP was accompanied by the municipal coordinating director, Mr. Francis Adu Boateng, the municipal engineer, presiding member, Mr. Ernest Frimpong, the municipal planning officer, municipal information officer, assembly ember for the electoral area, Mr. Richard Tutu and some staff of the NADMO department.
