Ablekuma West Receives Aid in Fight against Malaria

The Ablekuma West Municipality, marked a special day as they received a generous donation from Emerge Limited and Kilit, in partnership with the 3 Foundation. This donation was meant to be a beacon of hope and a show of support for the people of the municipality.

The donation came in two parts. The first part of the donation was made to the Municipal Assembly and was received by the Hon. Chief Executive. The second part of the donation was made to the people at the Dansoman Market. The items in the donation package included Kilit branded t-shirts and caps, Kilit Insecticide, and Kilit coils. These items are meant to help protect the people of the municipality from malaria, a disease that is prevalent in the area.

The highlight of the donation was the sensitization session conducted by the Municipal Health Director and the Public Health Nurse. They spoke to the people about malaria, how it is spread, and how to protect themselves and their kids from it. This session was very informative and was well received by the people.

The people of the Ablekuma West Municipality were pleased with this donation and the efforts put in place to ensure that they are educated on how to prevent malaria. It has been noted that malaria is a significant public health threat in the area, and any effort put in place to mitigate its spread is greatly appreciated.

The partnership between Emerge Limited and Kilit, in collaboration with the 3 Foundation, is a great example of how corporations can come together to support the communities in which they operate. This donation has already had a positive impact on the people of the Ablekuma West Municipality, and it is hoped that other corporations will follow suit and support their communities in similar ways.
