Atiwa East DCE distributes over 2,000 nose masks

As part of efforts to enforce the directives on the wearing of nose masks in the fight against the novel COVID-19 pandemic, the Atiwa East District Assembly has distributed over 2,000 pieces of nose mask to the public.

The distribution exercise which took place at the major Market Centres and Lorry Stations in the District was led by the District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Kwabena Panin Nkansah with the assistance of the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Simon Asare and a section of his management team.

The DCE in educating the public during the exercise reminded them of the number of COVID-19 cases recorded in the country so far.

He urged them to always put on their nose mask and also adhere to the precautionary measures on COVID-19 to support the fight against the pandemic in the District.
