The facility was commissioned on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and forms part of a number of health projects undertaken under the leadership of Hon. Braimah to address healthcare infrastructure needs across the Tolon District.

Since assuming office, the DCE has prioritised the provision of healthcare infrastructure as part of efforts to respond to the growing health needs of residents.

The newly commissioned CHPS compound is expected to bring basic healthcare services closer to residents of Kpalso-Kpana and surrounding communities, particularly those who previously had to travel long distances to access essential medical care.
The nurses’ accommodation will also provide suitable living conditions for health personnel, helping to support their availability and effective service delivery within the community.

The project is expected to contribute to improved healthcare access, timely treatment and better health outcomes for residents across the Tolon District.

Hon. Braimah Seidu reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to investing in health infrastructure and other development projects that directly improve the living conditions of people in the district.
