I have started work on a Community Art Centre – DCE

The District Chief Executive of Jasikan, Lawrence Kwame Aziale has stated that it is his dream to see the various artists from the Jasikan District perform on bigger platforms, stating that there are various talents in the District and he is ready to push them higher.

“I have started work on a Community Art Centre, and when it is completed can help various talents within the Jasikan District. As a youth, I don’t want you to follow politicians, but rather put more effort into your talent and it will pay”, he stated.

The DCE further added that it is not in his interest to contest for the position of a Member of Parliament but rather to help push the various talents in the district. And admonished the artists to put aside their rivalry and come together to push each other higher.

The DCE contested on the ticket of the NPP in the just ended General Election as Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency and lost to Kofi Adams of the NDC.
