According to the Assemblyman, the District Chief Executive (DCE) in a recent meeting at the Assembly on the 8th of October 2018, told members of the Assembly plans drawn for infrastructure development especially road cannot come on.
He further pointed out that rather the DCE told the Assembly that the focus would rather now be on how to plant and get food in abundance.
“Most of the communities that were promised infrastructure had been denied the opportunities, we have challenges with our roads, especially the road linking Nzema to Nkroful the birth place of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah the road is very bad”, he lamented.
According to him, the DCE made them aware that Ghana National Petroleum Corporation has signed and would very soon award the road to a contractor and would kick start soon.
Again reaching the Northern Zone of Ellembele is very difficult, the roads there are not motorable, the only plant you see there is cocoa, they are farmers, it is so bad that it is even difficult for a motor bike to access the roads.
