NKORANZA SOUTH : Physically challenged seeks help to manufacture wheel chairs

A physically challenged person, Mr. Ameyaw Hayford has appealed to government, benevolent organisations and philanthropists to assist him to manufacture wheelchairs on mass production.
 
According to him, with help from MOVENDI Foundation, a non-governmental organisation based in Holland, he has managed to to manufacture over 30 wheelchairs.
 
Speaking to ghanadistricts at an exhibition fair held in the Nkoranza South district, he disclosed that just recently an order of twenty-four tricycles has been placed, adding that he was assiduously working to complete the task.
 
He disclosed that he started the manufacturing business about five years ago, indicating that the actual cost of one tricycle is  GHC 200.00, however with support from the NGO, it has been reduced to GHC 30.00.
