The Kumasi Airport

Kumasi Airport is an airport serving Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region in Ghana. It is about 3.5 kilometers from Kumasi.  Documentation on land acquisition started in 1940 but the completion of the airport was in 1943. Kumasi Airport is the second busiest airport in Ghana.
