President Evans Atta Mills and his wife, Naadu Mills have joined Christians in an interdenominational service at the Independence Square in Accra , in worship as part of this Year’s National Prayer and Thanksgiving, which also formed part of the celebrations of the nation’s 53rd Independence Day.
President John Evans Atta Mills has received Dr. Mohamed "Mo" Ibrahim, Founder of Mo Ibrahim Foundation, at the Osu Castle in Accra, and stressed the need for the use of political power to improve the quality of life of the people.
