The Adaklu-Anyigbe District is a small and new district carved out of the then Ho Municipal with Kpetoe as its  capital. It is bounded on the East by the Republic of Togo, on the South by the Akatsi and North Tongu District and on the West and North by the Ho Municipal. It covers an area of one thousand and sixty kilometres squared (1,060.61km2).

Four communities in the Adaklu Traditional Area have banned bare-buttocks trousers (Otto Pfister) by boys and “I am aware” by girls in their communities.

Education Directorate receives digital cameras
The Adaklu-Anyigbe District Assembly has presented three digital cameras to the District Directorate of Education, to be used in taking passport pictures of Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) students.
