Seven communities in Bunkpurugu get electricity

Seventeen communities in the Bunkpurugu Constituency that have been deprived of electricity for years have finally been connected to the national electricity grid through the efforts of the Member of Parliament, Solomon Boar.

Addressing the residents, the MP, Mr. Boar says, phase two of the rural electrification will commence soon, and all communities in the Bunkpurugu Constituency yet to be connected to the National Grid will duly be served, because it has been the vision of H.E Nana Addo to extend Electricity to all corners of the Nation."

The MP together with the District Chief Executive, Mr. Majeed Duut turned on the switch to electrify the seventeen communities, the entire communities were thrown into ecstasy because of the ease the project will bring to them.

"School Children will now learn in the night, and we will be safe from thieves and Criminals, "they said.

The beneficial communities are; Sakbauk, Pagnatic, Gbetmunpaak, Nanmoar ,Kinkangu,Tatara 1& 2 Nanyiar , Gbankoni, Gbadauk, Kambatiak, Sinsabjina, Bufoek, Dukluatuk, Kpentaung 1 and 2 and Jilik 2.
