Akrofuom Assembly commissions 6-unit classroom block for Johnkrom

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Akrofuom Mr. Maurice Jonas Woode together with the District Director for Education, Mr. George Sarfo Kantanka, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Ebenezer D. Ntiamoa, Nananom and other opinion leaders in Botwekrom electoral area has commissioned a 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for the people of Johnkrom in the Akrofuom District.

The DCE in his speech indicated that the facility would serve the people of Johnkrom and its surrounding communities in the Botwekrom electoral area and also recounted how deadly the old structure was before he made it a priority to construct a befitting facility for them.

He assured stakeholders that educational development would continue to remain a priority in the scheme of the District Assembly and urged the people to keep faith with the Assembly and government, since they would continue to ensure that every community in the district gets a fair share of the national cake.

The District Director for Education thanked the DCE and the Akrofuom District Assembly for the enormous work they are doing in education in the district.
He explained that the collaboration between the District Education Directorate and the Akrofuom District Assembly had yielded enormous progress and development on the educational front and charged the Chiefs, teachers and other community leaders to take good care of the facility and make maintenance their priority.
