DCE cuts sod for commencement of Banana plantation and processing factory
The District Chief Executive (DCE) of South Tongu, Mr.Emmanuel Agama has broken the grounds for the commencement of Banana plantation and processing factory at Kpotame under the government’s flagship program, “One District, One Factory (1D1F)”.

Speaking at the ceremony, the DCE noted that the factory when completed will create over five hundred direct and indirect jobs for the people to boost the economic development of the area adding that the government is ready to transform the economy for prosperity for the present generation through this initiative.
Mr.Agama urged farmers and the youth of the area to take advantage of the project to alleviate poverty.
