Guan: Assembly endorses Emefa Obro-Goka as DCE
The President’s nominee for Guan District in the Oti region has received 100 percent endorsement from the assembly members following her nomination as the District Chief Executive for the area.

The programme, which was held at the forecourt of the assembly, was a brief but memorable ceremony as Madam Janet Emefa Obro-Goka was overwhelmingly endorsed by the assembly members.
Madam Obro-Goka until her nomination was the former Parliamentary candidate for the NPP in 2012, Regional Assistant secretary and current secretary of the party.
Speaking after her election, the new DCE used the opportunity to extend her appreciation to the President of the republic and also to assembly members for their massive support.
She indicated that “it’s a new dawn and a new beginning for the people of Guan”.
