Nana Asiedu Offei re-elected as Presiding Member

Nana Asiedu Offei has been re-elected as the Presiding Member (PM) for the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly.

Nana Asiedu Offei who has been the longest- serving Assembly member for the Mpeniase electoral area in the Municipality was unanimously elected by all 48 Assembly Members.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Akuapem North, Barima Awuah Sarpong Asiedu-Larbi in an interview with Ghandistricts.com after the elections expressed appreciation to the Assembly Members for the peaceful election and assured of management’s support to ensure the implementation of developmental projects within the Municipality.

He appealed to Assembly Members to work closely with their unit committee members to stimulate development.

Nana Asiedu Offei who stood unopposed in his victory speech thanked members for the trust reposed in him and urged them to embrace the new ideas his office in collaboration with the management of the Assembly will bring to develop Akuapem North.

He also encouraged members to promote and support government developmental initiatives in their areas.

The total number of voters were forty (46) members. He pulled Forty (40) ‘YES’ votes.
