Gomoa West DCE cuts sod to construct new health facility

The Deputy Minister for Transport, Mr Fredrick Obeng Adom together with the District Chief Executive of Gomoa West, Mr Bismark Baisie Nkum, has cut-sod for the construction of an ultramodern Health Facility at Mumford, a community in the Gomoa West district.

Speaking at a short but colorful event, Mr Obeng Adom urged the contractor and the consultant in charge of the project to discharge their duties diligently and efficiently to ensure that they meet the duration for implementation of the projects.

He commended the DCE for showing leadership that had earned them being selected among 14 Coastal towns nationwide to benefit from the Landing Beach Projects and other developmental projects in Gomoa West.

On his part, Mr Baisie Nkum, who could not hide his joy, also thanked the President Akufo-Addo for his commitment to the development of the District.

He therefore affirmed that the Assembly would collaborate well with all the stakeholders including the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Local Government Decentralization and Rural Development, to ensure a successful implementation of the projects.
