SHC commissions Urban Premier Court at Adenta

Minister for Works and Housing, Mr Francis Asenso Boakye, has commissioned Urban Premier Court , a State Housing Company project at Adenta in the Greater Accra Region.

The 40 unit facility is a project which was abandoned in 2013 but came alive when the current administration assumed office.

The Works and Housing Minister who was full of praise for the Management and Board said the team must be commended “for the prudent way you have utilised your internally generated funds'.

"State Housing Company has a success story to tell and the government would give you all the needed support", he added.

Managing Director of State Housing Company, Mr Kwabena Ampofo Appiah, in a brief remark, thanked the Board for their support and "the Staff of SHC for believing that this is workable.

He explained that it was initially thought that the area for the project was waterlogged "until my able Engineers realized it was just a burst pipeline which had gone unnoticed for years. And today here we are."

The Minister with the assistance of the MD, Board Members and Chief Director from the Works and Housing Ministry handed over a symbolic key to some of the clients who had procured some of the flats.

One of the clients, a serving Police officer dressed in his official outfit, received a huge applause as he received his key from Mr. Asenso Boakye.
