The MCE also indicated that the main essence of this is to increase participation at the Zonal level. The various Unit Committee Members took the Oath of Office and the various committees under the council were also duly formed.

Mr. Ebenezer Appiah Forson expressed his gratitude to the two Assembly members for playing key roles, and for their cooperation. He expressed gratitude to Nananom for their prayers and support and believes that the Zonal council will serve the people well.

The MCE and his team also paid a working visit to Asikuma CHPS Compound to visit the staffs working at the facility.

Speaking with Ghanadistricts.com Mr. Appiah Forson said, the purpose was to get himself personally updated with happenings at the facility, hence his interaction with the management, and patients in order to know the challenges in the various departments.

The management came out with some of the challenges in which the MCE assured them of his commitment to address in order to ensure quality health delivery at the facility.
