The inputs were purchased from the Disability Common fund allocation for PWDs to be independent of their income generation through improved farming practices.

The director for SWCD said the farm’s input was for some selected members of the PWDs in the district and she said she is doing the presentation on behalf of the District Chief Executive, Hon. Katherine T. Lankono who was away for official duties.

Some of the farm’s inputs that were distributed were fertilizer, weedicides, seedlings (maize) etc.

The beneficiaries were grateful to the district Assembly for this bold decision to help them improve their food security and feed their family as well.
