The project, according to District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Mr Charles Oware-Tweneboah, is in line with the Assembly’s plans to improve infrastructure in the education sector of the district to help increase enrollment.

The DCE, who was speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, further revealed that the Assembly had already secured funds to complete the project which is about 85 percent to serve its intended purpose.

He noted that, the Assembly remains committed and focused to ensure free but quality education by providing the necessary infrastructure and other basic teaching and learning materials for teachers and pupils respectively to help achieve the expected results.

The Assembly, he added, is also putting together resources to help construct similar projects in some selected rural communities across the district, adding that all is aimed at improving quality education in the area and the country as a whole.
