ECG Holds Community Engagement with Residents on New ECG Power APP, Cashless System
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has held a day’s community engagement with residents of Oyarifa and Teiman in the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality to address concerns raised by residents on the use of the newly introduced ECG Mobile App for all business transactions on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

With the new system rolled out under the catchphrase ‘ ECG goes cashless ‘, the ‘ECG Power App’, which is downloaded online helps customers transact business online using Mobile Money, Visa or MasterCard.
The Dodowa District Manager, Mr. Amemasor said ECG as a Utility Service Provider was committed to customer satisfaction through its corporate responsibility and sound operation policies.
Some of the functions performed by the ECG Mobile App include credit top-up for smart prepayment meter, online electricity bill payment, platform for reporting and resolving issues, refunds for challenged top-ups, providing notification and alert from ECG among others.
