Speaking at the programme, Mr. Agama thanked Project Maji and called on them to continue providing safe water to the people.

Mr. Sunil Lalvani, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the NGO said the Volta River Authority (VRA) assisted them in getting a site for the project and individuals around the world donated cash to support the project adding that the project would serve as relief to school children who travel long hours in search of water and urged residents to take the project like their own.

The paramount chief of the area, Togbe Nakakpo Dugbaza VIII advised residents to eschew litigation for donors to bring more developmental projects to the area.
