DCE tasks residents not to entertain Fulani herdsmen
The Sekyere Central District Chief Executive, Benjamin Kingsley Kodua has tasked the citizens in the district not to entertain the Fulani Herdsmen who always want to satisfy their animals with farmer’s crops.

He also charged them to report suspicious individuals or groups for swift action.

The DCE during his community tour to listen to the challenges of the people outlined some of the developmental projects the assembly had executed across the district after he assumed office and touched on the existing government programs and projects such as Planting for Export (PERD) and Rural Development and Rearing for Food and Jobs.

He gave the assurance that the district would work towards improving the lives of the people of Sekyere Central.

Some of the community members raised challenges of poor roads, potable water and electricity and also added that farming inputs have gone high to the extent that they can't afford them and yet the Fulani herdsmen send their animals to destroy their crops and therefore called on the government for support.
