Director of Poku-Saa Ranch and Farm urges youth to embrace farming
Mr Atta-Poku Senior, Director of Poku-Saa Ranch and Farming Company Limited in the Nkoranza South Municipality in the Brong Ahafo Region has thrown a challenge to Ghanaian youth, especially the unemployed to put themselves into Agric business for a better future.

Mr Poku, who is into crop and animal production indicated that his priority is to create more employment through farming, a dream he is pursuing with all the seriousness it deserves.

The Director who was addressing the media also said farming is now an essential work that can promote more employment in the agric sector for many people, and explained that the sector goes beyond crop production to include animals husbandry involving the rearing of animals, like pigs, cattle, fowls and non-traditional animals like bee-keeping, snail farming as well grasscutter rearing.

He recommended the president of Ghana, Nana Addo for supporting the agricultural sector with various initiatives like the 1 District, 1 Factory, among others.
