MP donates medical equipment to health facilities

The Member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma, Mr. Kofi Amankwa-Manu, has handed over medical equipment and other medical consumables worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to the Health Directorate for onward distribution to all health facilities across the district.

The presentation was done at the premises of the Atwima Kwanwoma District Health Directorate at Foase.

Among the equipment presented were beds, X-ray machine, wheel chairs, BP apparatus, mattresses, a couch, Lead protector, Perfusers, Accu chek, sutures, walkers, dental chair, insulin pens, masks, gauze, catheters, cannulars, clutches, and many others.

The MP said the health needs of the people was paramount, hence the gesture to support the facilities and further extended his profound appreciation to Dr. Abass Ganiyu of Germany and all those who made the donation possible.

He therefore promised his continuous support for the facilities and called on health workers to be passionate about their work while ensuring good relationships with patients.
