The District Chief Executive for the area, Kwabena Panyin Nkansah expressed worry that some classes would have to stop when it rains because of poor school block which deprives the students the full complement of their instructional hours.

According to him, when the Methodist School authorities approached the Assembly for assistance, their request was for renovation, but upon assessment of the structure, they realized it was best they construct a new and befitting 6-unit school block for the school with ancillary facilities.

And through funds from the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT) the project is progressing smoothly and in few months it would be completed.

The DCE said the future of the district and the country lies in these children and that has been the motivation to give them the best to prepare them for the future.

Meanwhile, the DCE assured that a lot is being done in the education sector to improve performance and secure the future of the students.
