KNUST donates street lights to Ayigya Zongo

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has donated 50 pieces of street lights worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the Ayigya Zongo Community.

The donation is in response to a letter from the Assembly Member for Ayigya, in the Oforikrom Municipality Mr. Issaka Ali Sambo to the Vice Chancellor of KNUST requesting the University to help his community with street lights in order to improve security in his electoral area.

Upon receiving the items, the Mr. Isaaka thanked the Vice Chancellor for granting his request and promised to use the lights for the purpose for which they were donated.

Mr. Isaaka Ali Sambo also brought a medical team to provide free medical services to the people of Ayigya Community. The services provided included free health screening and free medication to the members of the community.

He said all these efforts are geared towards improving the living conditions in Ayigya Zongo.
