He beseeched the people to listen to news and find out about the current economic plight globally.

He assure the drivers that plans are far advance concerning rehabilitation of Larteh road and that very soon, excavators will be on site to confirm his assertion.

Interacting with the chairman of the Union, Mr. Collins Afram said this meeting was long overdue and that he was delighted the MCE has finally come to listen to their plight.

He said before work begins, he expects that the Assembly should detail its engineer to re-shape and level the road with gravels in the interim to make it motorable.

He also pleaded with the MCE to use his office to address the wrangling existing between the PROTOA and the GPRTU in the area to have a common front so as to address their challenges.

He said measures such as this would always encourage union members and the entire citizenry to rally behind government of the day.
