Jaman South MCE donates street bulbs
The Municipal Chief Executive for Jaman South in the Bono Region, Mr. Andrew Bediako, has donated two hundred (200) pieces of street bulbs to some institutions and communities in the municipality.

The beneficiaries include St Mary’s hospital, St Francis missionary school, kwasibourkrom among others.

In an interview with the press, the MCE underscored the need to lobby for these street bulbs, adding that, the bulbs would help improve security during night hours.

Although he conceded that some street lights in the Municipal capital are not functioning, he said he was working relentlessly with the Assembly’s engineers to fix the problem.

He urged residents to pay their taxes to enable the Assembly generate enough IGF to undertake development in the Municipality.

He further caution journalists in the Municipality to desist from dissuading people from paying taxes but rather urged all and sundry to help pay taxes to generate enough IGF for development in the Municipality.

The principal Nursing Director at St Mary’s hospital, Mr Kyere Gyeabour, who received the bulbs on behalf of St Mary’s hospital, thanked the MCE for his kind gesture.
