BIRIM S: Asare Danso approved as DCE

The Birim South District Assembly in the Eastern Region has approved Mr. Asare Danso as the new District Chief Executive for the area.

Mr. Asare Danso received a 100 percent votes endorsement from all Assembly members present to repose their confidence in him to steer the affairs of the assembly as the political head.

He was subsequently sworn in as the DCE to commence work.

The new DCE replaces Mr. Richmond Amponsah, who has been moved to the newly created Achiase District curved from the Birim South District.

In his acceptance speech he commended the president for nominating him, and also the Assembly members for the confidence reposed in him and endorsing him.

He appealed for the total support of all and sundry in the discharge of his work to ensure accelerated development of the district.
