PWDs in Lower Manya Krobo receive items
The Department of Social welfare and Community Development of Lower Manya Krobo Municipality has presented items to Twenty-One (21) persons living with disability.

The items include; bags of Charcoal, Refrigerator, Fufu pounding machine, Plastic Chairs among others.
Mr. Simon Kweku Tetteh, the Municipal Chief Executive in his address stated that the items were purchased upon the request of the beneficiaries.
He said since 2017 this is the Ninth batch of people receiving the items, making a total of Seven Hundred and Nine (709) beneficiaries.
The MCE made it known to the gathering that previously people living with disability were given physical cash to do business of their choice but it turned out that they did not use it for the intended purpose.
He admonished them not to go and sell the items but rather use it for business to help turn their lives around.
He lauded President Akufo-Addo for his continuous support to the people living with disability.
