Suhum MCE commissions 40-unit market stores

The Municipal Chief Executive of Suhum, Mrs Margaret Darko Darkwa has commissioned a 2-storey 40 unit capacity stores in the area.

Mrs Margaret Darko Darkwa, who was addressing the gathering, gave a brief history about the project which is expected to create a convenient atmosphere for business activities at the main market.

According to the MCE, the project was started by her predecessors, Fletcher Kwabi and Margaret Ansei, which she has completed and handing over for use.

Each store comes with its own washroom to make traders feel comfortable with the facility.

She also stressed that, similar facilities are under construction at the Amponsah market to help improve socio-economic activities in the area.

The MCE further outlined ongoing infrastructural projects like roads, schools, boreholes, electricity extension and others.

Nana Odei Amoako (the Nifahene of Suhum) who represented the paramount chief of Suhum (Osabarima Ayeh Kofi II) on the occasion expressed his delight to the MCE and the ruling NPP government led by Nana Akuffo Addo for completing such an edifice for the municipality.
