Gushegu MP cuts sod to construct roads

The Member of Parliament for Gushegu in the Northern Region Alhassan S. Tampuli who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Transport has cut sod to construct two important road projects in the Constituency.

These major roads are; Katani to Nabuli road (18km) and Totti Junction to Demankung road (18.4km).

In a short ceremony , the MP said both roads provide major links from Gushegu to Yunyoo and Chereponi and Saboba Districts, where market women travel to trade, sometimes all the way into Mongo, in the northern part of the Republic of Togo.

Gallant farmers will also heave a huge sigh of relief when the roads are completed as they’ll provide access to their various farms to enable them transport their harvest to various markets all over the enclaves without much hassle.

The chiefs and people of these areas were there in their numbers to witness the historic exercise.
