Asante Akim South MCE inspects ongoing road projects

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Asante Akim South, Mr. Alexander Frimpong, together with the Regional Highway Director and his team, has inspected some ongoing road projects in the Municipality.

The visit was to acquaint them with the progress made in the construction of these projects.

Stakeholders from some beneficiary communities like Bompata, Adomfe and Wankyi were also in attendance to aid in the monitoring exercise as well as give their take on the progress of the projects.

Speaking in an interview, the MCE noted that the Assembly realized the need for residents to have smooth journey on the road and also to alleviate the numerous issues raised on spare parts by drivers.

He commended the work progress of the Highway Authority and urged the team of engineers working on the various road projects to be steadfast in their commitment to completing the roads as scheduled.
