DCE hands over kindergarten classroom block to Baare School
The people of Baare, as well as the staff and pupils of Bapelugu Primary in the Talensi District of the Upper East region are grateful to the Government, His Excellency Nana Addo for providing them with a well-furnished 1 No 3-unit classroom block for Kindergarten pupils.

The Talensi District Chief Executive, Christopher Boatbil (Dr.), has announced some pragmatic policies to fine tune education in the district by the government to give priority to education which is paramount and indicated that the move was part of the Assembly’s plans to address the falling standards of education in the area.

Speaking at the short presentation, the DCE reassured the directorate of government’s desire to enhance education in the district by providing the basic infrastructure and logistics to aid teaching and learning.



He further said, the presentation was in fulfillment of the assembly’s promise to provide the necessary logistics to aid effective teaching and learning in schools.

He added that the move was also to ensure the realization of the president’s vision of improving the quality of education in the district and the country as whole.



Dr. Boatbill said the Assembly has begun an exercise to renovate abandoned educational infrastructure, especially classrooms, encourage students, teachers and parents to give off their best on their roles and heighten the monitoring and supervisory roles of circuit officers.

The DCE said the decision was part of government’s commitment in seeking to create enabling environment that would facilitate effective teaching and learning and ensure that pupils were provided with quality formal education through effective and efficient management of resources.
