MP, DCE donate mathematical sets to BECE candidates
The Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia, Mr. Addo Yaw Frimpong together with the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Amansie South Mr. Clement Opoku Gyamfi has donated 1,680 Mathematical sets to the District Education Directorate for onward distribution to candidates who are sitting for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

In his interaction with the candidates, the DCE encouraged them to study hard to pass their exams and benefit from government’s free senior high policy.

He noted that the mathematical sets will not only motivate the candidates but will also help ease the financial burdens on parents.


He admonished the candidates to desist from exam malpractices but rather abide by the rules and regulations set by the West African Examination Council (WAEC).


The District Education Director Mr. Adu Darko Stephen said the donation came at the right time because it will motivate the candidates to perform in the ongoing exams.
