MCE welcomes pupils to school
The Oforikrom Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Abraham Kwame Antwi has encouraged pupils to value education as the perfect foundation to achieving their dreams and aspirations in life.

Mr. Antwi gave this assurance when the assembly took part in annual nationwide programme dubbed, “My First Day at School”, to welcome and interact with fresh pupils into the basic schools on Wednesday 11th January 2023 in the Municipality.
He pledged the assembly’s commitment to support them through their academics. He was however impressed with the attendance of both students and teachers of the schools visited.
Together with the MCE on this occasion was the Municipal Director of Education, Mrs. Dorothy Opare Baidoo, some departmental Heads, and some Assembly Members.
The MCE and his team visited 4 selected schools within the municipality which included the Boadi Basic School, Sacred Heart Basic School, Ayiduase R/C Basic School and Ayigya Basic School.
Items donated include; pencils, exercise books, soft drinks and educational materials to support the studies of the students.
