135 trained in Youth Employment Agency Health Module

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Youth in Community Health Work Module has held a closing ceremony for 135 trainees at St Daniel Comboni Vocational School in Sogakofe.

The Module seeks to get the youth to contribute to healthcare delivery in communities through assisting healthcare professionals.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Letsa says the Regional Director of the YEA, Mr. Emmanuel Quarshie has briefed him on the activities and courses the trainees were taken through with the support of the Regional Directorate of the Ghana Health Service.

He congratulated and entreated the trainees to make good use of the opportunity offered to them in order that they could prepare themselves and further their education.

The Minister furthermore, entreated them to be compassionate and exhibit the best attitude in the performance of their duties in the various communities to which they would be posted.

He concluded by wishing them well in their quest to contribute to healthcare delivery in the Region. Mr. Letsa was accompanied by the District Chief Executive for South Tongu, Mr. Seth Kwesi Agbi and the District Chief Executive for North Tongu, Mr. Divine Osborne Fenu.
