The school since its inception in 1990 has being studying under a make-shift structure which makes studies come to a standstill whenever it rained.

The facility will therefore serve as a great source of relief to the pupils, teachers and the entire community.

Speaking at a short ground breaking ceremony, District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Madam Florence Governor, assured that funds have already been set aside from Assembly’s share of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) to ensure that the project is completed on time to ensure its intended purpose.

She tasked the Works and Engineers Department of the Assembly to strictly monitor the projects to avoid shoddy work. The DCE also urged the contractors to speed-up work on the facility but ensure value for money.

The Assembly, she concluded has prioritize education, thus was keen to ensure the construction of similar projects to help improve education.
