Shai-Osudoku gets new District Court

The Shai-Osudoku District Assembly has commissioned a new District Court situated in Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr. Daniel Akuffo in his address at the ceremony said, the project will contribute positively to the advancement of effective Justice delivery in the Court.

He also thanked the chiefs and Management of Shai-Osudoku for their support.

He stated that, the Dodowa District Court Registrar has submitted to his office the renovation works to be done on the residence of the magistrate of the District Court and he will work on that as soon as possible to enable the magistrate live and operate in a safe and conducive atmosphere.

The Attorney General and Minister for Justice Miss Gloria Akuffo in her Speech commended the Assembly for their remarkable achievement within a short time and called for good maintenance culture.

Her Ladyship Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, Sophia Akuffo also lauded the District Chief Executive for complying with her directives and having completed the refurbishment of the District Court building with offices consisting of the Magistrate Chambers, Registrar's office, Recorders office, Bailiff’s section, Docket Room, Cashier's office and an ADR room.
