According to him, only four Police Officers are currently at post and providing security assistance to the over 74,000 populations in the District.

“As it stands now, we have only four (4) police officers managing the security situation and you know the security situation, Binduri and Bawku are sharing borders and so, some parts of Binduri are also affected in a way. So, we think that having enough policemen will actually help the security situation in Binduri, and here is the case that we are.”

However, giving accounts of some ongoing projects in his district, the DCE noted that work is currently ongoing on the Kukparigo to Gotesaliga Bridge and road, Yodelinga to Bazua culvert and road, and Sakpare to Azumsapeliga culvert and road.

On Education, he mentioned that the assembly had constructed three separate 3-unit classroom blocks for Kpatarigu, Tambilgu and Atuba.

He added that Binduri, Kulimvayi and Puayamiri have also taken delivery of six unit classroom blocks each.

Touching on health, he further disclosed that the assembly is constructing Community Health Planning Service (CHPS) compounds at Sakpare and Gumyoko communities.
