MCE presents 500 dual desks to GES for distribution

The Municipal Chief Executive, Alexander Obour Damoah has presented five hundred (500) Metal Dual Desks to the Municipal Education Directorate for onward distribution to Basic Schools in the Municipality

Presenting the items to the Education Directorate, the MCE charged the schools to ensure the maintenance and durability of the desks to be worth the cost incurred.

The Municipal Education Director Ms Mary Nyarko Adu-Twum who received the items with appreciation assured that her outfit would ensure supervision and good guarantee long span and value for money.

The dual desks were part of efforts by the Government and response of the MCE to the needs and challenges in order to enhance teaching and learning in the Municipality. It was also part of the government's commitment to addressing challenges facing the educational sector in the area.

The desks add up to the educational materials such as Text Books on the New Curriculum for Primary Schools, supplied to schools in the Municipality.
