SUNYANI W: Fiapre Chief promises scholarship package best 2019 BECE student

Obrempong Professor Kyem-Amponsah II, the Chief of Fiapre Traditional Council in Sunyani West District of the Bono Region have promised the best BECE students/candidate for Fiapre Circuit who obtain grade six (6) for the just ended BECE exams a scholarship package of GH?1,000.00.

The essence of the promise was to promote education in the district and to engender competition among the young especially by encouraging them to work hard. He also announced of sponsoring Vacation classes to both SHS and JHS within the Fiapre Circuit.

The Chief made this known in an orientation seminar organized by the Fiapre Traditional Council and Stakeholders within the Fiapre circuit.

The Traditional Council has been awarding scholarships best students and some are now working and occupying high positions at levels and occupying high positions at levels.

“What they want to become tomorrow starts from today’s hard work”, the Chief emphasized. He noted that determination, perseverance, dedication and hard work were the principles of success in life and urging all students to do same.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sunyani West, Mr. Martin Obeng was there to lend his support to the Traditional Council. Present were Ghana Education Officials, chiefs, opinion and religious leaders.
