Rebecca Foundation in partnership with ASR cuts sod for a library at Bepong

The Rebecca Foundation in partnership with The Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabui Africa Initiative has cut sod to build a library in Bepong in the Kwahu South Municipality

The Managing Director of ASR Africa, Mr. Ubon Udoh said the library is one of the many libraries to be built under the ASR Africa partnership with the Rebecca Foundation and applauded the commitment of the Rebecca Foundation towards helping children and education in Ghana.

He said ASR Africa is an initiative of industrialist and philanthropist Abdul Samad Rabiu, who has decided to give back to the African continent to promote sustainable healthcare, education and social development adding that his outfit has identified the Rebecca Foundation as one of the most reputable charities in Ghana and this encouraged them to support the Foundation.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area Mr. Emmanuel Atta Ofori Snr expressed a deepest appreciation to the First Lady and the Rebecca Foundation for helping the Library Authority and the Ghana Education Service to increase access to library facilities to schools.
