Ghana Gas Company provides housing to Kibi Government Hospital

Kibi Government Hospital proudly received the keys to two brand-new 3-bedroom accommodations through the generous sponsorship of the Ghana Gas Company as part of their commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The commissioning ceremony witnessed many inspiring speeches, including heartfelt words from esteemed individuals such as the Ag. Municipal Director of Health, the Deputy Director of Administration of the Ghana Health Service - Eastern Region, and the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Dodoo.

In his acceptance speech, Dr Dodoo expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Ghana Gas Company and all stakeholders involved. He assured them of the hospital's commitment to maintaining these valuable facilities. He took the opportunity to advocate for a staff village further enhancing the well-being of the hospital's dedicated staff.

The event was graced by the presence of the Municipal Chief Executive, Akosua Asabea Annoh who emphasised the importance of preserving these structures for generations to come.

The representative of the Ghana Gas Company, Lawyer John Darko, highlighted the company's collaborative efforts with the government and revealed that this project is just one among many nationwide. A true highlight of the day was the presence and wisdom shared by Osagyefou Amoatia Ofori Panin, Okyenhene, who chaired the ceremony.

His words echoed gratitude for the Ghana Gas Company's contribution to this monumental endeavour. He also underscored the significance of maintaining the buildings and stressed the need for additional accommodation facilities for the hospital's dedicated health workers.

The event saw a distinguished guest list, including the Okyenhene, Nana Adutwumwaa, Okyenhemaa, Nananom and Elders, members of the Board and Staff of the Ghana Gas Company, representatives from the Ghana Health Service and Abuakwa South Assembly, and the dedicated Management and Staff of the Kibi Government Hospital.
